Many many long term relationships are breaking down right now. In practice, I am seeing many marriages and partnerships of 10, 20, even 30 years falling apart. But relationships go beyond romantic. They also include family relationships, friendships, and business. These relationships are fizzling because many of us have changed our perspective about what is truly important to us. We continue working on improving self worth, self value, and self image; and as a result, we now crave more meaningful and deeper connections that align with our new, deeper selves.

Venusian and Leo themes can also have us examining our relationships related to: our children, career/work, socializing, leadership and the establishment, corporations, religion, money, and overindulgence etc.

On the contrary, this could be a time when we are working hard to rebuild our relationships into healthier more sustainable connections and/or partnerships.

In rare cases it could be to rebuild, but generally speaking, re-reading an old chapter usually doesn’t change the ending. Again, in some cases things could turn out differently, but it is best to go forward cautiously and without attachment to the outcome.

Although some astrologers say you could meet your soulmate at this time, I have never had nor have I ever really witnessed a good experience in Venus Rx...

I would put the dating apps on hold right now and focus on self love.

Venus also deals with money and beauty: this is NOT a time to spend a lot of money, to get your brows and lips done, or to get that forever tattoo.

Put these on the back burner until Venus goes direct. You will be happy you did. Instead, revise your budget. Find the financial leaks. Consider the hair, brows, and butt, but don’t do a thing until this is over because chances are you will regret it!!

We will examine our connections to the past, our self worth, and our emotions connected to a past person or reference point in time. Some of this examination may be a result of past people making an appearance at this time.

Since Leo is the leader… we could also be exploring topics surrounding the masculine energy of “Father” or leadership… examining wounds with our dads, examining being a father, evaluating people in our life that are father-like, or the leaders in our lives. Who are we allowing to lead us? Should we be and can we lead ourselves? We may be trying to take the lead and control of our lives (being our own father/leader) in matters important to us (work, passions, projects, religion, relationships, life itself).

𝐅𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐮𝐩𝐬

The good news is: we are going to be RELEASING the past chapters during this Venus Rx. We will also be starting to focus on the positives instead of the negatives. We will step out of denial and we will process unresolved feelings and regret as grow from here. Furthermore, there may be some connections from the past that come back in to rekindle and help support us through this time.

𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬:

The hard part may be dealing with bad news, difficult, jealous, or gossipy people, having to consider our children in the process, stirring up childhood wounds, or being our own biggest critic. Our wounded inner child may come to the surface.

We may be receiving information or examining things that might be hard to digest, but is necessary to help us move forward. Additionally, some could have a hard time trying to figure out what a new future looks like after processing all of this. We may not feel fully prepared.

𝐄𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬:

We are working through the feelings and emotions of the 5 of cups, but also facing our feelings of limitation, trapped circumstances, and a lack of direction in the 8 of swords. Doing inner work during this time will allow us to find direction, answers, and ways to empower ourselves, our lives, and our situations.

During this examination, “stuff” will be brought up to the surface that we have either been trying to ignore, or maybe we were not aware of (we could learn things suddenly during this time). This insight becomes important for us to make our decisions going forward.

In areas we have felt disempowered or stuck (especially areas where our values are concerned), we are going to process our feelings to focus on finding solutions so that we can feel more empowered, aligned, and move forward. The challenge we face is that some of this may be heavy, and we may be forced into this through difficult people, critics, challenging news, or new information that is hard to digest. We may just be our own worst critic during this process.

ℝ𝕠𝕞𝕒𝕟𝕔𝕖:

𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝙄𝙣 𝙏𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙚

Many have been feeling very limited and trapped in old relationships. This is a time of examination of the past and processing the emotions that go with it. There may be feelings of nostalgia and wishing things could be like they used to be, or feeling trapped because of children. Some are dealing with very cunning, manipulative partners that have been dishonest. For others, the emotion is gone and the relationship feels transactional. This is a time when most relationships will probably come undone due to communication issues (can’t even be nice anymore) or some new facts or information come to the surface that will change everything. Although sad, this is necessary to move out of that eight of swords cage.

In some situations, not all is lost, and there may be a chance to pick up the pieces, but it will require you to focus on solutions and not problems, and remembering what brought you together to begin with. Advice: Be kind.

𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙮 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙨:

There may be exes or other people popping in from the past that trigger old memories. This can cause some stirred emotions as you quietly try to release this. In other cases, there may be losses, or people within the family/friend circle that are having hard times. You may not be sure how to assist. Additionally, you may revisiting issues or memories with OTHER relationships, and working on your self worth and values in other areas of your life such as career, religion, society, children, etc. You could also focus on passions, talents, etc.

𝙎𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙚𝙨:

This is a great time to clean out the emotional closet. Releasing those old flames and exes, and releasing the limited thinking that “nothing works out,” or “I wish…” This is about becoming comfortable with who you are, feeling good about your self worth, a time to stop being so critical of yourself. Also a great time to work on those inner child wounds, and find passions and creative pursuits.

Don’t be surprised if an ex or two pop back in to revisit, and it stirs up old feelings. On the other side of the coin, if we stop moping and get out of our self imposed prison, we might meet someone new. Either way…. Proceed with caution!! Rush nothing. Venus Rx is a danger zone when starting or renewing a relationship.
